The german makers name and location E. Wilhelm over SUHL is located on the ricasso. The blade spine is marked and dated with a crown over W, over 74, over a german inspection marking. Brass grip with external spring works smoothly. Steel crossguard with quillon and muzzle ring. Crossguard is unit marked: 74.R.9.163. Scabbard is marked 132 R.12.191.
