Awesome uniform grouping from the very early years of post-war Germany. The Bundesluftwaffe was established in late 1956. 1st Lt. Luftwaffe tunic with bullion embroidered officer cuff titles machine stitched on. Nice early bullion officer wings over breast pocket. Nice original dress / adjutant lanyard (could be WWII period?) and 1957 medal ribbon bar with IC 2nd, War Merit Cross 2nd, Black Wound badge and Russian front medal ribbons. Early barrel cuffs reminiscent of WWII. Silver piped around visor hat, shoulder boards and machine stitched collar tabs. Includes a black leather officer belt with silver pebbled claw buckle. Also comes with a German Cross in Gold 1957 version. The visor hat is contract made for the Bundeswehr early 1960's that matches perfectly with the tunic, hat size 57 1/2 (about a 7 1/4 US).

Approximate tunic size 38/39R. There are no moth holes, no stains, no musty smell, clean and perfect! Hard to beat for being 60 years old! Would make a great post-war Luftwaffe display of a famous fighter pilot that served in the Bundesluftwaffe like Erich Hartmann, Gerhard Barkhorn or Gunther Rall (Germany's top 3 aces with 352, 301 and 275 aerial victories respectively).
