This is a new polished and laquered solid brass trim ring for the top of a ball shade or globe. If you want the antique look, you can strip these by boiling in water. A trick that a customer taught me! Or I should have the raw brass version on another listing. Covers chips in the chimney hole of your ball shade, or helps protect from such. Simply lay this on the top opening of the globe or shade and bend the 3 tabs to grasp the lip of the glass. Wonderful authentic touch for your lamp. Fits most all ball shades. 3 & 1/16 inch inside diameter and 3 and 7/8 outside diameter. Beautify that banquet or gone with the wind lamp!
