The Urushi Collection is a modern revival of the large No. 50 fountain pen from the early 1930s, known as the “No. 50 Jumbo”. The ink stopper mechanism is the same as in those days.The top coat is made of lacquer to which no oil is added, and polished with charcoal to give it a deep gloss.
