PAT 1899, 1903 - BHR WATERMAN No 12 EYEDROPPER Fountain Pen - 2 GF SNAIL BANDS - Here is an early Waterman No 12 SLIP-CAP Eyedropper with Pat, Dates of 1899 and 1903 in the imprint, which is located on the cap. The pen is smooth Black Hard Rubber with no chips or cracks and no personalizations. There are 2 Gold Filled snail pattern bands and the length of the pen is 5 1/4\" capped - the number 12 is impressed on the barrel end. The moderately flexible nib is a 14K Gold No 4 WARRANTED and the eyedropper joint is smooth and easy working - there are 2 issues, the nib is good with plenty of iridium but it looks like someone took pliers to it at one time - still correct, aligns etc - and near the end of the barrel is a mild bit of rub - mentioned for accuracy, neither issue is of great importance.
