Clearing out collections of a lifetime, this is a pair of antique Fortuny silk cut velvet panels I\'d bought to make up into pillow ages ago, and they\'re still stored. Deep loden green and gold and a floral bouquet with swags and tassels. A matching pair, would be just gorgeous made up as bed pillows. They had each been backed with a support panel of linen, which you can see in the photos. Each panel is approximately 17\" x 14\", ready to make up.
Very good condition for age and type, 19th century Italian Fortuny velvets, rare to find! They\'re 100% silk, a little age showing upper left on one (slight threading) but for the most part, just really gorgeous old rare fabrics. Just needing a collector or designer to make them up. An upholsterer in your area will also make these up for you, and likely help you with lush fringes and trims. A project, but also fun!

Our shipping days are Tuesday and Friday, paid items will be shipped on the first shipping day after payment is received (except when special circumstances exist). We prefer to use USPS whenever possible, and require all packages to be insured. If you prefer another method of shipment, please mention it. We charge only actual expense of shipment/insurance, except in the case of larger items which must have special wood crates built. Wood crate charge, when applicable, is a flat $35.00 in addition to actual postage & insurance charges.
