COLLECTIBLE VINTAGE P&LE Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Railroad Playing Cards. 2-Deck bridge set of one red deck and one blue deck with storage case. Circa 1960s.
This P&LE collectible was a corporate marketing item for clients of the railroad. Provenance: received directly from the P&LERR in mid-1960s.
COLLECTIBLE IN NEW/UNUSED CONDITION IN ORIGINAL SEALED FACTORY PACKAGING
Unopened and sealed storage case with 2 sealed decks inside.Please view all photos of actual item (photos 1-7) which are part of the description. The shrink wrap has loosened on one end (photo 7) and the case cover has a slight depression on top from shelf wear due to over 55 years in storage. Also included as a reference are photos (8-9) of a similar set from the mid-1960s that show the inside of the case, gold deck edges and the joker U.S. Capitol graphic used by the Congress brand (discontinued but owned by United States Playing Card Company which also owns the Bicycle brand and many others).
