Offered is a RX Porcelain Drugstore Pharmacy ApothecaryMeasuring Beaker by Owens Illinois.Owens Illinois gave these to pharmacies for advertising purposes sinceOwens Illinois made all the glass bottles used in pharmacies during the 1940’sand 50’s. The beaker is unmarked.

The piece was purchased at an estate sale of a collector ofapothecary items. Beaker is in excellentcondition no nicks, chips, cracks, or crazing.The gold gilding is excellent condition also with no damage. There may be some photos where the gold lookstarnished or darkened, this is due to reflections and lighting.

Measurements are 9” tall x 4 ¼” rim diameter with a 3 ½”base diameter.
