Original rare WENATCHEE CHIEF apple or pear box wrap/tissue. Used for apples from Wenatchee Wenoka Growers Ass\'n in Wenatchee, Washington. Great image of a sexy miss chief in a bikini sitting on an apple which would be in the center of each wrapped apple. Wenoka arrowhead and Wenatchee Chief symbol at the bottom.This tissue/wrap is from the 1950s back when each individual apple was wrapped in a tissue. I have been collecting apple wraps/tissues for over 20 years and this came from a collection started in the 1980s by avid apple box label collectors in Chelan, WA. Tissue is yellow in color. Tissue is approximately 10\" x 10\".
Label is in fair condition BECAUSE IT HAS DIAGONAL FOLD, HEAVY HANDLING MARKS [it appears there are several folds on the top & bottom also] & SEVERAL FOLDS ON THE TOP & BOTTOM WHICH IS TYPICAL OF A TISSUE AS THEY ARE SO FRAGILE - see photo. But its a scarce tissue. I will combine shipping on sales.
