Rollo, who passed away in 2007, was one of the most important tattooers in history, He bought Sailor Jerry\'s shop in 1973 and, along with Ed Hardy, made Jerry\'s art available to everyone since. He was also an accomplished painter, machine builder, and teacher/mentor to generations. Along the way he started the Mr. Flash line of tattoo flash sets and effectively revolutionized the tattoo flash industry.
Margaret Moser, a longtime staff writer for the Austin Chronicle and director of the Austin Music Awards who was renowned as a champion of the Austin music scene, died August 25th 2017 following a four-year battle with cancer.
