Original WW1 WWI German Iron Cross 2nd Class EK2 Marked LW & 100 RM Banknote:

100% ORIGINAL WW1 German Iron Cross 2nd Class (EK2). Including its original ribbon (the thin ribbon from a small field bar) and rare maker\'s mark, LW (Louis Werner), stamped in the ring. 3 piece construction, iron, black paint, with some silver plating. Weighs 18.5 grams. Dimensions are 4.3 x 4.3 cm.
The 100 Reichsmark banknote is included for historical reference. The harsh penalties that the Allies placed on Germany after the war created extreme inflation, so that Germans had to take wheelbarrows full of money just to buy groceries. This was one of the main causes of WW2, and the banknote adds to the display value of the medal.
