This certificate is adhered very well to a thick piece of poster board like material. The certificate has wear as seen in the pictures. The back has a note saying it was donated to a historical society by the family of the soldier killed in action 1918. There's a small crease and rip in certificate. I don't believe the frame is the same age as the certificate. Frame is 12.5" wide and 18" tall , inner dimensions. There's no glass on the wooden frame. The illustration is very neat and has a lot going on.
