Original scarce WASHINGTON SWEET CHERRIES cherry box liner/tissue. Used for cherries grown paacked and distributed by R. L. Grasser who owned the Houser Orchard in Clarkston, Washington. Nice image of two clumps of red cherries and a blue ribbon with Washington on it. This tissue/wrap is from the circa 1940s back when inside of each box of cherries a liner was put over the top to add to the beauty of each pack that would open up in the middle. Liner was printed by Spokane Litho Co. I have been collecting apple liners/wraps/tissues for over 20 years and this came from a collection started in the 1980s by avid apple box label collectors in Chelan, WA. Tissue is white in color. Tissue is approximately 8 1/4\" x 14 3/4\".
Label is in very good condition BUT IT HAS HANDLING MARKS WHICH IS COMMON WITH THESE LINERS AS THEY ARE VERY FRAGILE - see photo. I will combine shipping on sales.
