New Listing!Southern Railway2-8-24501is leading aNorfolk Southern Steam 25th Anniversaryspecialtrain atMineral Park, TNonNovember 3, 1991. 4501 was built by Baldwin in 1911, and became the engine that kicked off the Southern Railway steam program in 1966, which later became the Norfolk Southern Steam program when Norfolk & Western and the Southern merged. 4501 is now at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum, undergoing restoration.
