New Listing!Pittsburgh PATransitPCC1745is atGateway Station, the inner station of the new Downtown Subway, working line47D-Drake,onJanuary 31, 1990.1745 was one of four 17090s that received new wiring, and this extended its service life six more years (all un-rewired 1700s were retired suddenly in late 1987 following a disastrous runaway accident in the Mt. Washington Tunnel).The last Pittsburgh PCCs operated in 1999.
