Here's a wonderful estate sale found oil or possibly acrylic painting of a sorrel horse walking in a field under a blue sky with clouds. This measures 30" x 26" and the canvas measures 26" x 24". It has a few very minor scrapes to the paint above the horse and some rubbing just below the top of the frame. Beautifully painted and the signature appears to read W.Rushey, but I could be wrong. I could not find any artist info by this name and I believe it is probably a very good hobby artist from the area of Lancaster County PA. If I were to guess a timeframe of when it was painted I would guess somewhere in the mid 20th Century. It reminds me of a young Belgian horse of the Amish from this area. It is framed in a mucky gold painted frame with some corner separation. You are buying this as found and described and shown in the photos. Ships by FedEx Ground.
