Original M40/55 Finnish helmet, manufactured in Germany for export to Finland for their military. These were produced on the original machinery used forWorld War II German helmets. This helmet is a 100% original German helmet manufactured World War II type M40 steel combat helmet produced byGerman World War II manufacturer Hans Romer Fabrik from Neu-Ulm. The leather liner and chin strap are present and in good condition - although a bit stiff and showing wear at the front. The green paint rates at about 80%, with scattered scuffs, scratches, areas of light surface rust and some shallow dents on the crown. Buyer pays 15.00 for shipping.
