This is a very clean example of a 6 oz Coca Cola Hobble Skirt Bottle marked “San Rafael Calif.” on bottom. “Trade Mark Registered Bottle Pat’d Dec 25, 1923” stated on one side of the bottle “Trade Mark Registered Min. Contents 6-Fl. Ozs.” on the other (please see photos).

A knowledgeable collector notified me that in the photos he could see that there is a date code on this bottle on the Patent side a few inches from the bottom. On close examination I can see that there is a 4 followed to the right by a diamond and a few more digits that according to info do not have anything to do with the date. The number before the 4 is unfortunately lost in the crease. This first two digit number would indicate the year of manufacture. The first pic in my listing actually shows this stamp and that is as good of a photo as I can manage. With the naked eye I can vaguely see 2 dots preceding the 4 but they are in the crease and there is nothing to indicate exactly what number created the dots. Please do not contact me to try to get a better photo. This is the best I can do with my camera. Also this description is as detailed as time allows, I have done a lot of research and I can’t offer any more details. This is a very clean specimen, just a few tiny chips at the heel and minimal wear. These bottles were made between 1924 and 1938.
