Here we have a wonderfuloriginal antique EDWARDIAN brass rise and fall adjustable table lamp.
It has a weighted circularbase. The support is finished with a lovely circle which incorporatesa birds head. This in turn is held in a fist. The end of the thread which releases the scroll arm supporthas a lovely fanned detailing. The original opaque shade is also beautifully detailed.The approximate dimensions are : 25 inches / 63 cm high with the scroll arm at maximum height x10 inches / 25.5 cm wide and the base is approximately 5 1/2 inches / 14 cmdiameterCONDITION:The lamp is innice condition as can be seen in the photographs,just age marks commensurate with age, but could be polished to shiny brass according to personal taste. There is a small indent to ball on which the scroll arm is support see close up photograph.
