Offered here is an original AP Wirephoto of a 1971 murder scene on a Cincinnati Ohio street. The photo description on the reverse reads as follows:"The bodies of McKinley Pace, far left and bondsman Sammy Malone are covered as police try to unscramble the events that led to the shooting that killed two and wounded one. Pace shot the bondsman who tried to take him to jail following his conviction on four misdeanor charges growing out of a racial incident last summer. The shooting occured outside Billy's Bar in the Avondale section, four blocks from the original incident" I found a news article from the Cincinnati Enquirer online and have included a picture of it. It is NOT included in the sale and is only included here for informational purposes. The opening of the article reads as follows: "To some people McKinley Pace was a no-good human being who was always getting into trouble. To some black militants he was a folk hero because he struggled against the white man's society he despised. To his mother, he was a good boy who got in with the wrong crowd. Whatever he was to these people, to an eight year old boy named Lance, he was daddy."
