Original large-format 1951 color lithographed topographic map ofcentral Japan,printed morethan 70years ago.

The map is drawn on a scaleof 1:1,000,000 and the overall size is 109 x 73.7 cm [44" x 29"].
It was printed by theUnited States Army Map Service in 1951 and isdated in the lower margin.
Topography is drawn inrelief and detailsinclude cities, towns, villages, railways, and roads.
Among the named places andfeatures are Kawasaki, Omoto, Sado-shima, Toyama-wan, Hamamatsu,Shizuoka, Nagoya, Hakodate, Kanazawa, Sendai, Yokohama, and Tokyo.
Condition: The map is in very good, lightly usedcondition, bright and clean, with norips, tears, or writing. It has been folded to approximately 8" x 7¾"and is blankon the back, with no printing on the reverse side. Please see the scansand feelfree to ask any questions.
