Exceptional original Pen and Ink Firefighter artwork Illustration on drawing board.
The piece is not signed or dated; I\'d estimate c. 1920\'s but certainly may be earlier.It depicts two firefighters rescuing a girl from a burning building. The Lantern and fire trumpet horn in the illustration make me think it is earlier than 1920\'s.
This would have likely been published in print, either in an advertisement form or magazine form. This is a very scarce item and it pains me to be listing it without identifying the illustrator, but my hopes is someone can ID the creator and/or where it was published.This item comes from the estate of a long time collector of many rare and hard to find firefighting related items.
