Original1916 Nickel Plate Railroad leatherbound book of rates for shippingsacked or baled wool "in grease," or wool which has not yet beencleaned or"scoured."

The book measures 6¼" x 4"and has a leather cover with gilt embossed lettering:New York, Chicago & St. Louis R.R., "Nickel Plate Railroad" —Traders Despatch / Lackawanna Line /Nickel Plate Line / Interstate Despatch.
There are 33 pages of printed rates "per 100 pounds" toBoston and Philadelphia from hundreds of specificlocations in the American West, via various lines.
The remainder of the book consists of ruled pages for notes andcalculations by the NKP freight agent.
Two dozen or so of the pages have pencil writing and numbers of bagsand bales, dates, etc. The balance ofthe ruled pages have no marks or writing.
Condition: This original NKP rate book is in verygood, lightly used condition. Please see the scans,which give a closer look at some of the contents, and feel free to askanyquestions.
