Original1899 antique lithograph: The Battle of El Caney,fought northeast of Santiago de Cuba on July 1, 1898, during the Spanish-American War. - In the foreground, Americansoldiers in General Henry W. Lawton's 5th US Division direct the firefrom their field guns on the forces of SpanishBrigadier General Joaquín Vara de Rey y Rubio.
- The image area measures agenerous 33 x 52 cm [13" x 20½"].
- This is an original, authentic antique lithograph, nota reproduction or modern reprint, and it is fully guaranteed to begenuine. It is signed by the artist in the lower corner and waspublished by George F. Cram, Chicago, 1899.
- Condition: It in excellent condition,with a vertical center fold, as issued, and nomarks, rips, or tears.Please see thescans and feel free to ask anyquestions.
