JUL 1.    ( Some history of the strike ) The 1929 New Orleans streetcar strike was a labor dispute between streetcar workers and the New Orleans Public Service, Inc. (NOPSI). Involving 1,100 workers, it began on July 1, 1929, and lasted over four months. It is credited with the creation of the po\' boy sandwich. At one point a streetcar was burned by strikers. )  I do encourage offers.  So don\'t be shy. If no offers I may end sale early.   This rare and authentic press  8 x 10 photograph . It captures a piece of Union  American ( street car strikes )  history from the 1920s. 1930\'s  Notice the scene.  The New Orleans po-boy gets its origin history from this event The image depicts an extraordinary scene on canal Street in New Orleans, LA and is a true testament to the culture of the time.  From my personal collection. It\'s now time to pass these along

Still has a Great  clarity and tone

Has not been cleaned, laundered or touched up. it is in found original condition . has a missing corner and some rippling at bottom.but does not negatively impact photo.

No smoke or other obnoxious smells.

A few stains and spots see photos. 

No rips tears or holes/ does have a possible scratch or two and soft corners
