Meticulously hand-made from scratch, this tiny replica of a WWII-era German battleship is the work of a XXXXX.
The hull, stacks and bulkheads are made of wood. Common nails are used for rail posts and other various fittings.
This is just one of several models we have listed from the same German model-maker.note: grid in photos consists of 1\" squaresI bought this on 3 to 5 years ago. At that time it was said these were hand made by a German sailor and is an actual German navy ship. After the war he hid these behind a wall in his house because he was afraid of being accused of pro nazi activity.Eventually they were found and put up for sale on , as i am now doing. ENJOY
