NOTE: Pics showing full tablelcoth taken on a twin size bed. Damask pattern reads strong in hand, hard to capture pics of damask sometimes, but this is beautiful.

Terrific older vintage, possibly antique, fine Irish linen damask tablecloth having a lilac motif. A large, almost square, cloth there is a lush wide lilac wreath which would show on the topside of a big round table. Larger lilac groupings at the corner and geometric banding in corners and along edges interwoven with some lilac sprays. Beautiful. Very hard to find pattern. Circa WW1 Era to 1930 is my best guess. Made for a time when big round oak tables were popular and square cloths on round banquet tables were set up for weddings and special events, often festooned with live draped ivy on hanging edge. Great bridal table cloth.

Lilacs !

Approx. 67\"x70\" almost square. Center woven lilac wreath motif approx. 11\" to 20-1/2\" from center. So the wreath varies up to 9-1/2\" wide.

In beautiful older vintage, could be antique, lightly used condition. Lots of body and luster, excellent hand. Appears to have been well kept. Irish linen I believe given the quality and edge selvages I recognize. No stains, no worn areas. 1 very little hole in the cloth, see pic, I would have missed it if I hadn\'t been pressing it. A fine hand repair or backtape could go unnoticed. Fantastic cloth designed for a round table given the center wreath of lilacs, back in the day of big round oak tables. Great for a wedding or special venue event. Has been soaked, washed and lightly pressed, could be spritzed and pressed more before using if desired. Excellent quality.

I also listed a set of antique lilac linen napkins from the same estate. They are a bit older than this cloth but from a lilac loving family ! Can combine shipping but wait for a combined invoice before paying.
