For sale here is a very old, hard to find, ceramic “Destroyer Bank” made by the Novelty Manufacturing Co. in New York.

The bank is 12" long x 3” wide x 5” high.

Condition is used and very good for its age.

It has the original cardboard seal on the bottom which, as you’ll see in the pictures, indicates that these banks were sold as banks to fill and then use the saved coins to buy war bonds with “to aid our country’s war effort … V”.
