Old Vintage Hand Carved Artist Signed Souza Rio Woman Figure Wood Carving Brazil:

Offered here is a beautiful hand carved wooden figure of a Brazilian woman. It is signed by renowned folk artist Souza.

It is in vintage condition with some wear and losses from age and handling. Her upright arm has a glue repair at the shoulder, there is a substance like filler at the bottom of her scarf, and the hole in the top is a provision for a basket/bowl that is not present - see photos.

It measures about 12 6/16" high tobthe top of the upright hand. About 11 25" high at the head. About 6.75" at the widest, and about 7" deep.

A beautiful hand carved folk art piece from Rio De Janeiro Brazil.
