This is an old framed photo mounted on a card and framed that looks to have acted as a Christmas present from Laura Gilpin, the famous photographer of the Southwest. There is a photograph measuring about 4.5 X 6.5 inches attached to backing that has printed under it Old Spanish Mission, Yucatan, and Merry Christmas. Signed in penciled under both the photo and Merry Christms is Laura Gilpin. Inked under her name is a \"\'35\" so I\'m guessing it was a gift from 1935.

There is water staining damage on the paper towards the bottom of the frame, it looks to me like the original backing paper is still behind on the frame but the wire hanger is shot.
