This offering is for an original Dated 1942 WWII Jeep Jacket. The jacket is a double breasted olive drab wool with a satin lining. The original tag is still attached inside the breast pocket and reads in part \"RICHMOND BROS. Co. CON. W-669 QM 16684 DATED MARCH 19, 1942 SPEC. NO. P.Q.D. #76a STOCK NO. 55-0-3266 PHILA QM DEPOT SIZE 38R\". The original belt is still in place and it displays beautifully. The jacket has a working double breasted front with eight buttons, please note that the top two which are hidden under the collar are missing. The jacket also features a loop at the collar to be used with the free standing collar. On the left shoulder is the original Eighth Service Command cut edge patch. The condition is used with scattered wear and minor soiling as well as scattered tiny moth holes. The worst of the damage is on the back side of the right sleeve. The jacket is fresh to the market and as such would benefit from a quick trip to the cleaners just to freshen it up. The actual current measurement are as follows taken with the garment laying flat.
