Beautifully trading bell post decorated Navajo repousse’ and decorative stamped sterling concho brooch. The silversmith has applied a repousse’ stamping in the center engraved with the initials JL raises an oval area along with a second repousse’ stamping of and oblong oval in the exact center. The artist has applied repeat stamping to resemble a flower or sunburst. Around the outer rim of the concho the artist has added stamped plant and sunrise symbols along with other stampwork across the top and bottom of the concho. The artist finishes by attaching a safety locking pin on the back. The decorative stamped concho stamped concho brooch measures 2”⅛x 1”¾ and weighs 11.3 grams. Hallmarks Bell Trading Post was founded in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1932 by Jack Michelson and his wife Mildred. They sold southwest style jewelry at various tourist locations in the United States.
