Up for sale this week is a nice, rather rare piece of obsidian rough from Glass Buttes Oregon. This rough came from the original fire pit and was stored for years in a rather large collection of Obsidian of a local rockhound in Boise who was very active in that area in the 70s.
Rough has been shaped and rubbed to about ~600 grit to within a .5mm+ of the ribbon\'s surface. Most of the photos and video show the rock wet so that you can see the fire ribbon inside.
