4 STEREOVIEWS FEATURING THE NEW HAMPSHIRE ORPHANS HOME IN FRANKLIN, NEW HAMPSHIRE.
THE ORPHANAGE. \"The New Hampshire Orphans Home and School for Industry was founded by Chaplain Daniel August Mack and incorporated on July 7, 1871. The original homestead included part of Daniel Webster’s Elms Farm in Franklin, NH and consisted of 183 acres. Eventually, this organization for destitute and homeless orphans was renamed to Daniel Webster Home. Approximately 3 3/8 x 6 7/8 inches.CONDITION. Left side: A spot and light soiling in sky. Right side: Light soiling in sky. Mount: Wear at corners. Front has some scuff marks and light soiling. Back has discoloration and soiling, and some writing.APPEARANCE. Rich tones. SIZE. Approximately 3 3/8 x 6 7/8 inches.CONDITION. Left side: Soiling in sky. A diagonal scratch at bottom is more apparent when tilted, as are a few less apparent scuff marks. Right side: Soiling in sky. When tilted, a few scuff marks. Mount: Wear at corners. Front has some scuff marks and light soiling. Back has foxing and soiling.APPEARANCE. Very good tones. CONDITION. Both sides: Some soiling and scuff marks – some of this is more apparent when tilted. Mount: Wear around edges and at corners. Front has some soiling. Back has foxing and soiling, and some writing.APPEARANCE. Very good tones. A view from the Rock on the hill in the orchard on the Webster Farm, in Franklin, with the surrounding scenery, - being the same rock where, Daniel Webster informed us, he wrote part of his oration delivered in Salisbury, July 4, 1806.\"

When tilted, scuff marks are apparent. Right side: Light soiling. When tilted, scuff marks are apparent. Mount: Wear at corners. Front has scuffing and some soiling. Back has soiling.APPEARANCE. Very good tones. Excellent depth of field. Lovely composition.
