ORIGINAL WWI IMPERIAL GERMAN M16 M17 STEEL STAHLHELM CAMOUFLAGE HELMET:

For your consideration is an original WWI German Helmet shell, retaining up to 90% of the original wartime applied \"Mimikri\" pattern paneled camo paint scheme.
The helmet is without a liner, but the interior still retains much of the original field gray paint, and still has both interior chinstrap retaining rivets, which hold the chin strap lugs in place. It also retains both of the extended ventilation side lugs. No maker stamps are visible, buried beneath thick paint.
This an excellent Great War camo helmet example, offered in collectible condition and would be hard to upgrade, making an eye-catching addition to any World War I collection. Thanks for looking and good luck.
