ORIGINAL! WWI CANADIAN AIR FORCE BOMBER PILOT "PILOT JAMES K. PICKARD "SIGNED ID'd PAYBOOK THAT INCLUDES HIS HANDWRITTEN WILL c1916. ALSO INCLUDES AN OFFICIAL COPY OF HIS WARTIME FILES FROM THE CANADIAN ARCHIVES AND AN HIGHLIGHTED SEGMENT FROM A BOOK ABOUT HIS BOMBING MISSION WITH THE 43rd and 107th RFC SQUADRONS OVER FRANCE IN 1918.

The bombers of 107 Squadron were escorted over the lines by Sopwith Snipes of 43* Squadron; its pilots claimed five victories during the operation, including one by Lieutenant G.R. Howsam of Port Perry, Ont. . Canadians in 107 Squadron included L. Ashton of Mairkirk, Ont., I.H. Christie of Toronto, S.L. Dunlop of Calgary, and A.B. Holden of Victoria In 43 Squadron/the Canadians included J.P. Bernigand of Montreal, G.F. Geiger of Brockville, Ont., W.G. Holden of Indian Head, Sask., R.L. Houlding of Brantford, Ont., L.N. Mitchell of Liverpool, Ns, J.K. Pickard of Ridgeway, Ont., and W.H. Temple of Toronto.
