ORIGINAL AMERICAN COLONIAL REVOLUTIONARY WAR ERA HORN NAVAJA TYPE TRADE KNIFE: $100.00
For sale is an original Revolutionary War Era hand made folding knife made with a horn handle. Some of these types have back springs and some are called penny type knifes that don't have this spring. Please remember that these knifes are old and the fact that even some have survived all this time is special. Knifes this age will almost always have some condition issues and defects like insect damage to the horn handles, multiple sharpening over the years and worn back springs. These knifes were imported back in the day and now show up occasionally in knife collections. The blades were hand forged and some have makers marks which can be seen in the photos if present. There is a makers mark on the blade and has been resharpened significantly but it survives!!. (see pictures).
