This vintage OKAPI pocketknife is a 100% original piece made in Germany. The knife features a drop point blade made of carbon steel with a plain edge and a brown color handle made of plastic. The blade range measures between 2.76 - 4 inches and the knife is designed for amofferextrous dexterity. The knife is a collectible folding knife and has a slipjoint lock type. It was manufactured before 1989 and is an original piece. The knife comes with a manual opening mechanism and has a single blade. This knife is perfect for collectors or anyone who appreciates a vintage folding knife.
Please review the photos closely. I’ve noticed some sales list this as a wood handle, but I do believe it is a plastic material. Please note there is scuffing on the handle below the bail on one side. There’s also some on the bale same side. someone may be able to buff this out, but I wanted to highlight it before you purchase. It’s a very neat looking knife and has a great snap and a really good blade. There’s limited use and I did not notice any scoring on the blade edge. There is some scuffing or wear to the joint area of the handle. I’ve zoomed in pretty close so you can see this.
