A small (2 1/4\" tall) beautiful white MILK GLASS colored, little round antique COSMETIC CREAM jar. This is a very early little jar that dates well over 100 years old. What makes it worthy of consideration is that there is a blatant spelling and/or embossing error on the base of the jar, a large BACK WARD \"N\" in the embossing on the base of this jar.

Jar embossed on shoulder: \"INGRAM\'S MILK WEED CREAM\".
Base of jar embossed: \"BOTTLE PAT\'D / No 481953\". Note that the \"N\" in \"No\" is very clearly backwards, a mold maker\'s mistake for sure!
Condition: Jar is in good condition. It has some rust spots on it from being found in an old bottle dump along wth rusted tin cans. Otherwise all is good, NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc.
Age: An ABM jar with a smooth-top, ca. early 1900\'s.

Ingram\'s MILK WEED Cream was a complexion cream that also doubled as a quack remedy used to cure burns, mosquito bites, poison oak, sun burn, etc. These are an early jar as some even were hand blown into mold, ones just like this one. Yet what makes this one so collectibleby far is the LARGE BACKWARDS \"N\" on the base embossing, a blatant mold maker\'s mistake from a century ago, a sign of the times,check it out!
