Here is a very nice looking vintage 3 light ceiling mount chandelier type fixture complete with the original ruffled petticoat pebbly satin glass shades, a beautiful piece here - don\'t let it get away !!!
I think this style is referred to as Hollywood Regency.
This is a ceiling mount fixture so will need to be installed into your existing home AC wiring setup.
Shade fitter end is about 2-1/4 inches, three screws to hold each shade in place on the fixture. Two screw holes on the metal top ceiling canopy for mounting.
Shade diameter is about 7 inches across the ruffled end, about 5-1/4 inches in height.
Manufactured in the 1970s, the ceiling mount is embossed MADE IN SPAIN on the inside of the canopy.A short wiring pigtail is present, light will need to be wired into your ceiling installation.
All of the ornate metal parts are a cast metal with a heavy brass plating, a sign of the quality on these vintage light fixtures.
The 3 shades look to be original and are a satiny type thin glass with an overall ruffled petticoatpebbly pattern, very pretty when illuminated and a perfect light for a dining room.
Measures about 20 inches overall in diameter, height from ceiling to tip of bottom finial is 9 inches.
The bulbs used during testing will not be included but are the standard E26 medium base.Absolutely great overall condition and in complete working order, no damage at all that I see, very fine looking original patina to the solid brass fixture, no breaks at all to the metal castings, the glass shades are damage free and very clean shiny too, the actual light sockets are in fine shape electrically and I had no hesitation in testing this fine light out.
Obviously, these type of light fixtures are not antiques, however, they are still desirable today as decorator/designer pieces and are highly sought after by the many people that follow the trends of the 60’s and 70’s.
The shades will be removed to ease shipping box requirements and help get them safely to your destination, easy to re-install with the 3 thumbscrews for each.
