Measuring approximately 9\" in length.Beautifully preserved, complete specimen with excellent dorsal, anal, caudal fins, well defined vertebrae, and a mouth full of teeth.
This fossil fish is from the world-famous fossil beds of Fossil Lake, Green River Formation, Wyoming. From the Eocene, 52 million years ago.
The plate measures approximately 10-5/8\" x 9-15/16\" and weighs about 4 lbs. 7.84 oz.The slab is thickness is about 7/16\" in thickness but is professionally backed with plywood bringing the total thickness to about 7/8\"
This is an will come with the original certificate of authenticity from Pioneer Fossils. Note that the 30-day guarantee on the original certificate is expired but this specimen is the exact specimen in the certificate.
