29\" Circumference 12” Tall (w stand) 10\" Tall without stand, 9” Diameter. I am the original owner.

Just as Mexico has its world class potters in Mata Ortiz, Nicaragua has a small town known for it\'s potters as well, namely San Juan de Oriente.

In my opinion the nicest piece of pottery from Nicaragua I have seen offered on any site including art galleries.

She retired/stopped making her one of a kind carved pieces in 2011. (she passed away 3 years ago)

Her intricate carving/etched Mayan motif surrounds this piece. Even the base of the piece is hand carved as is the matching stand.

Her pieces are extremely rare..I have seen only one other piece of hers for sale in the last 13 years

This is not a mass produced tourist piece (made in a mold and painted in factories/shops where they make hundreds of the same piece for the tourist trade)

Will be packed to perfection in an oversized box to allow for extra materials and bracing all around.

I will only sell to and ship to the U.S. due to VERY long lead times to the rest of the world...(and that there is no insurance coverage available outside the U.S.)
