Rules of the Operating Department effective October 28, 1956 - small red book has some soiling to the boards, no markings in text. Supplement No. 1 is affixed to the rear pastedown. Former owner\'s name (E.E. Bashore) on front pastedown ledger. All documents listed below were found tucked inside the front cover.
Onionskin letter dated May 5th, 1941 from Bellefontaine, Ohio on NYCS letterhead asking the Yard Brakeman E.E. Bashore to report on May 7th, 1941 for an examination to promotion to Yard Conductor. Letter is folded and has some tape residue/browning on it, likely matches the tape residue/browning on the flyleaf of the rule book listed above.
