Up for sale today is this New Brunswick Trans-Canada Highway 1 sign. this sign is made to the exact 1962 standard that was the first style of Trans-Canada route marker. it was modified slightly in 1966 to have a green outer margin, and replaced with the modern sign style sometime around 1972. (if you would like a different province or route number, I can certainly make that as well!) The sign is 15 by 20 inches and weighs a solid 7 pounds, 11 ounces. It has been faithfully rescaled from the original 18 x 24 size for more convenient display. It is a high quality, heavy steel sign. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection.
