Nebraska state line marker. Up for sale today is this Nebraska state line sign. Made to the exact state standard used from 1984 to the present day. The famous sign with \"The Good Life\" first appeared in 1984 and is still used to the present day. Attempts have been made to replace it but due to its popularity, it continues to see service on many of the roads leading into the state of Nebraska. several variants exist - this one features the cowboy on his horse. please see my other sales if you are interested in one of the other designs: I have the cowboy, Chimney Rock, or capitol building styles.An original of these is not only very rare to find scrapped, but is a herculean effort to transport; many still enjoy their active service on the highways. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without chancing legal trouble... or a hernia.

The sign is flat printed on heavy gauge steel, with completely accurate layout and fonts. It weighs about 3 pounds, 10 ounces. the original size is about six feet wide; this one is a precise rescaling of the freeway style sign down to a more manageable 18 by 8 inch size. it is a non-reflective sign - perfect for ordinary display, indoors or outdoors. (if you would like a larger size version, please ask as I can certainly make one!)

This is a high quality, heavy steel sign. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection.
