Vintage U.S. Navy Softcover Book from the USS Shangri-La CVA-38 Aircraft Carrier ~ Across the Line and Around the Horn. Book has 36 sheets/72 pages full of photographs documenting the sailors' initiation into the Realm of Neptunus Rex. The Voyage started on March 23, 1960 and sailed from San Diego, CA to Mayport, FL. Book measures 5" x 7" and is in nice condition with no rips or tears. There is some minor age discoloration/yellowing and some marks on back cover ....see photos. Binding is tight. This was part of an estate lot that I acquired from the original owner's family. His name is written on the inside front page Shipping via USPS. Non-Smoking Environment.
