Native American handmade leather belt with Sterling silver and turquoise buckle.:

The buckle: Sterling silver with artist\'s initials \"TB\" and \"Sterling\" stamped on the back. The buckle is 2.5 inches wide by 2 Inches High. It has a lovely chape, rectangular with slightly rounded contours. The edges of the buckle are decorated with a stamped \"frame\" inside of which are 21 turquoise stones of various shape and size, set on a dark background. The buckle is of the anchor type. The metal work is of a good weight and the buckle is in mint condition.
The belt: We ordered the belt to go with the buckle. It was handmade by the firm \"Caballo\" Santa Fe, whose stamp is now barely visible on the back. It is made of two layers of brown leather sown together. The outer layer is embellished with strips of lighter brown leather which gives the appearance of having been braided. The length of the belt measured at the central hole is 36 Inches. It measures 1.26 Inches high (a smidgen over 1 1/4\"). The belt is also in mint condition.The price for belt and buckle is $500.00.
