Vintage porcelain figurine from a series of soldiers of the French Napoleonic army.Hussar officer.OFFICER des HUSSARDS.Figurine made in Italy, with the emblem of Capodimonte on a high pedestal, XX century.In excellent collectible condition.
French hussars were considered elite cavalry regiments.They participated in reconnaissance, attack, long-range raids.They were dashing, famous for their exploits and a rich life full of adventures.The hussars showed heroism that cost them their lives.They said to themselves: \"A hussar who is not killed at the age of 30 is not a hussar.\"
