This beautiful hand made porcelain Nadal Spain Figurine is Circa 1950s and features a young boy garderner who is standing by his finished work. He is dressed in his working clothes and has his boots on. He is standing besides a wall with flowers on it. He has his hand around a urn that he has just worked on which is filled with pink Roses and their leaves. There are Roses growing on the wall behind him. The potted Roses are arranged on a Cherubs design base and stand. This figurine is so beautifully detailed.
This Figurine is in excellent condition - all the flowers ae intact. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs.
Nadal has been in production hand producing its products since 1915 and has been run by the same family all this time. It is not connected to Lladro although sometimes I have seen figurines called Lladro Nadal. That is really unfair to Nadal for they produce wonderful quality products - and often with much more details. Nadal guards their production secrets and takes great pride in their products.
