This listing is for one(1) vintage Nottingham Lace ‘Classic Rose’ tablecloth made by the Scranton LaceCompany. These lace table coverings arenew old stock having been in storage for the past 20+ years. Two sizes are available, both new in theoriginal packages. Featuring 100%Wrinkle-Free, Soil Release Cotton, these vintage lace tablecloths are in verygood, unused condition. Choose from 2options:

60” x 126” Oval Ivory,in marked packages.

60” x 144” RectangleWhite, in marked packages.

These vintage lacetablecloths were woven on the original Victorian looms of the Scranton Lace Companylocated in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Established in 1897, the Scranton Lace Company was internationallyknown for producing the highest quality Nottingham Lace. Twelve massive Jacquard looms were importedfrom Birmingham, England in the late 1800’s and the factory in ScrantonPennsylvania was built around the 20-ton machines. Employing upwards of 1200 people at itsprime, Scranton Lace ceased production in 2002.If you have watched the show “The Office”, the opening scene featuresthe clocktower from the Scranton Lace factory.In addition to Nottingham lace, the company also produced napkins,tablecloths, valances, and curtains along with other lace items.

I purchased these andother lace table coverings and doilies at an sale of over 10,000 pieces ofScranton Lace items. These were some ofthe last pieces produced at the factory before it closed over 20 years ago aswell as old inventory. I have carefullyinspected each package and will only send you items in pristine, like newcondition.
